The personal details we collect include your name, address, telephone numbers and information required for payment. These are sourced either from the membership form you fill in, information contained on the email you send us requesting an order, or over the telephone by our sales team.
Only information necessary for the sale and delivery of wine and related information and providing our service to you is collected. No information of a sensitive nature is collected or stored.
From time to time we may ask you to participate in surveys. These help us to improve our level of service and to maximise the opportunities and benefits you can enjoy.
All your personal details are stored in a single, secure database on our premises. Access is strictly controlled and limited to our staff that manages orders, deliveries and accounts.
We make every effort to keep Member’s details accurate and up-to-date. Information is immediately updated if errors or changes are bought to our attention, which is why we recommend that you:
· Let us know immediately if you find any errors in your personal information
· Keep us informed of changes to such personal information as your name, address and telephone number.
Do we disclose your information to anyone else?
No personal information is taken off-site or otherwise disclosed to third parties, except as required to arrange delivery of and payment for goods and services. For example, address details are provided to our mailing house and to couriers and credit card details are provided to our bank or the banks of the vineyard from whom you make your personal selection of wines from us. In such cases information is protected by legally binding confidentiality agreements with each supplier.
How do you gain access to your personal information?
It is your legal right to know exactly what personal information of yours we hold. Member information is available at all times, either over the telephone or in writing.
To protect the privacy of Members, our staff will confirm personal details before providing any information over the telephone. We have also instigated optional password protection for added security – this can be arranged at any time.
Where the member ship is in joint names, both members have access to account details but will need to confirm certain personal details in the case of telephone inquiries. If your membership is in your name only but you would like your partner to have access to your details, you will need to organise this with us by phoning 0417-700 030.
As part of ongoing program of communication, Members are contacted by mail or by telephone from time to time to inform them of upcoming events, special product offers, or to gather feedback from our various products and services. If you would prefer not to be contacted in one or more of these programs, you can “opt out” by calling us on 0417 700 030. Your preference will then be recorded in our database for future reference.
